My parents in law came for a visit today and brought an Early Christmas gift for Roberta. They gave it today because it wont fit on there car if they have to wait till this Thursday. They gave Roberta a very nice writing board. Roberta was very happy with it. They also bought crayons, chalk and eraser. Her Granny show her how to use it and show Roberta how to draw. I just knew that my Mom in law is good in drawing. They said, they still have 7 more gifts for Roberta. I am so blessed to have a wonderful Parents in law like them and very thankful for loving my daughter.

I prepared a sweet banana for them, they love it. They like to drink coffee, we bought a coffee maker just for them, my hubby used it once before when they visited us, today I called my hubby, I asked him how to use it..hehehe..I have no idea..so ignorant..LOL! he gave instructions thru the phone, he didn't knew how much coffee to put..he's also ignorant, both of us don't drink coffee s so both of us had no idea, so I just put 1 scoop, when my Dad in law drink it, I asked him how it taste..He said it taste good,perfect. I took a deep breath. So happy, i pass on my first serve of coffee for them and they like what i prepared for them. They're the best.

I receive my Whooga Ugg Boots today.It's a very nice boots, very comfy. Gift of Appreciation

Roberta receive a surprise letter from her Grandparents today. When we opened the letter it has a $ 20 bucks in it. It Say's the money is their gift of appreciation for Roberta, for being such a sweetie and very cute on her costume during Halloween. Roberta was very happy, even though she didn't understand it yet very much but she know that her Grandparents love her so much. They also asked Roberta's Christmas wish list. I'm still thinking what to write cos at this point Roberta wants and likes everything. Hopefully tomorrow she can decide what she really wants.

I couldn't ask for a better Parents in Law. They are amazing. My daughter is so fortunate to have them as Grandparents.

Halloween Costume

My little noiser is ready for the Halloween. She already have her costume. We bought it last saturday at the very famous store, K-mart! LOL!!! We got her the bee fairy costume. She tried it right away and she look very pretty it. She is the cutest bee ive ever seen..

Cooter Festival

Every year the City of Inverness will hold it's annual celebration of Cooter Festival. Last year Roberta had fun riding with the carousel and the tsu tsu train. Last Saturday was this year's Cooter Festival but it was not like last year. No more rides for the kids. All they have is the fair.

I felt bad because she was very excited and ready to ride, so we gave her a treat, we bought her a toy and banana split at the ice cream DR..

Camping

Roberta just had her 1st Camping experienced past weekend.Were invited by our Fil/Am couple friend. She had fun but she was not feeling well after few hours we arrived at the camping site. She was vomiting and had diarrhea. I think it's because of the very cold weather, in bisaya we called it "panuhot". The medicine that we bought was very effective, right on after she chewed it, she was back on track.

The kids went were fishing at the boat ramp, so we let her experienced also. She was just playing with the fishing pole and missed the fish twice. The fish drag the fishing pole, we almost fall on the water. Maybe it was a big fish.

She was having fun playing with the boys, she was the muse..the 3 boys are my friends son and nephew.In the evening, i thought she will get scared because it was kinda dark, instead she had fun watching the campfire and playing with her very small flashlight.

We missed the boat ride in the morning as the weather was still so cold and windy. So we all decided to pack up and head home as there is nothing we can do in the Campground.

A day at the Park

Past weekend we brought Roberta to the park. We missed going to church that day so we decided of giving our little princess a treat. She had a blast. We war her out in the swing ,slide and playing with the other kids. She was playing for an hour and a half. By the time we told her it's time to go home, she was crying. She wants to stay. She never get tired. We just told her we will take a break, eat ice cream and will comeback continue to play. She agreed but when she notice that were heading home, she was showing her attitude. Her Tatay talked to her and tell her that Santa will give her swing set this Christmas. At this point of her life, she wants everything that she sees. She even wants to have a car! sounds very cute huh...

Roberta just turned 26 months yesterday. She's learning everyday, doing great on her little disciple class. She brought her beads necklace to the class last Sunday, and when we pick her up, her necklace was gone, the teacher told us she cried a little because someone get something from her, I'm sure it was because of the necklace. This past Saturday, we attended a baby shower at the park. While i was busy with the games, my hubby brought Roberta to the playground with Jessica and Victoria. She was having a great time. She love to swing and slide. I feel bad for her because she can only play in the playground rarely. Were to busy to take her to play. I am working hard on my driving so I can take Roberta to play as often as she like.

We also went to a car show, it was very HOT! Roberta was not happy, she was complaining to go home. I heard her talking to her Tatay, she said...Tatay it's hot..will go home now..I was tickle to death when i heard that words. The way she talk, just so cute!

Yesterday, Roberta received a halloween card with 30 bucks in it,from her grandparents in VA. She was very happy when i told her that she got a card. I let Roberta opened the card and Tatay read it for her. Her Granny and Granddaddy love her so much. They even ask what size of clothes Roberta's wearing now cos they will buy clothes for her. Roberta is so lucky to have a wonderful Lolo and Lola like them. We will celebrate our thanksgiving with them..can't wait to see them again.

This past weekend we were very busy attending children birthday parties. The first party was for Regina, a cute little girl just like Roberta, she turned 2 years old and a daughter of a Fil-am couple. I went to there house early to helped prepared the party. Roberta had a blast, meeting some new friends and playing with them. She missed the pool, i forgot to bring her swim wear.

The Second party was for Victoria, a 12 year old young lady. Roberta was the darling of the crowd. The children in the party likes to play with her, carry her and told us how cute she is. They brought Roberta inside the room where all the kids play, she had fun. They give Roberta some toys and looking forward of seeing Roberta again.

Her Tatay call her half pint, cos her size is just like a half paint.LOL! Roberta is now at the little disciple class in the church. When she reach 2 years old, her teacher told us that she will transfer Roberta to the next level as she is big enough to stay in the nursery with the infants. I felt bad at first because Roberta like her teacher so much, she is being called as Nanny and she is very good when it comes to kids. Everyday here in the house even today Roberta ask about Nanny.

Roberta was in the little disciple class for 3 Sundays now. Nanny told us that she's doing great. She cried a little on her first day but she overcome right away. She just play with the toys, color the coloring books and listen to their teacher telling biblical stories. She did not ate snacks. She is the youngest in the class. Most of the kids there are from ages 3 and up. Last Sunday, when we dropped her off in her class, she just fussed a little. When we pick her up after the fellowship, she was so jolly and happy, no more tears. The teacher said she's doing a good job, Roberta is very friendly, sharing, helpful in picking up the toys and a good listener. Were so proud of her.

About her talking, she is so funny, she sound very cute too. If the word is hard for her, she will not say the last syllables. Example: TV, she can't say the V word yet, so she will just say Nanay T pls. if she like to watch TV. Another word is Candy..she will say CAN...no DY, and in a very soft voice. She is very talkative, like her Nanay. Before she hates the word thank you and pls., now if she will say thank you and we will not reply to her, she will not stop saying thank you. She says Sorry Nanay or Tatay if she did something wrong, and if u will not forgive her, she will not stop saying sorry. Her favorite word is NO, when we asked her, she will answer with a NO or No way Tatay or Nanay. Not really a good word but she just sound very cute when she said that.

She likes to sing and dance specially when we watch WOWOWEE, Her favorite Filipino show.Maybe she will be the next Luningning..hehehe..Her favorite songs are Twinkle2x and Alphabet song, she doesn't like to listen to another song. If i will sing her another song, she will say No, so many times.Her favorite Tv shows are Dora, Ni hao kai lan, little bill, blues clues, diego,back of the bardigans. She memorize that shows, the character names, and the theme songs. Sometime she will tell me something about the show, I don't understand her, then she gets mad.

She's trying to help in washing the dishes. When she sees me in the kitchen sink, she will get the stool and put it beside me and starts to play, She like the bubbles. If it's already afternoon, she will start asking about her Tatay,if what time Tatay will come. If she know that her Tatay is already outside, she will stand in front of the hallway wait for him to come in and will give her Tatay a big hug and kiss. Then she will run to the bedroom, she will reach Tatay's house clothes and give it to him.

One thing were working on her is to use the potty train. Until now she still poo and pee in her diaper. She just sat on the potty for picture taken, after that she rejected it. She is scared to set on the potty train. I don't know if it's because we put it inside the bathroom. She doesn't like to see us using the bathroom. She will say Ewwww! if she knew that we pee or poo.

Lastly, her favorite foods are corn, green peas, mushroom,cherries and cheese. Her drinks are fresh milk and fresh juices, she can consume 3 boxes of juice per week and almost 1 gallon of milk a week. Im concern because she doesn't like to drink water, just a very little of water and not everyday.

She is very messy with her toys, my job is to clean her play room everyday. I'm not yet finished cleaning, the toys are scattered already on the floor. It is so hard sometimes but seeing her active, healthy and happy and she makes my life worth living for, this all matters to me.

My little noiser is not a little noiser anymore. She is our big noiser now. She just turn 2 years old last July 28. It fall on a weekday so I prepared something for her on that special day. I cooked spaghetti, for long life and i bake a pine apple up side down cake. She is scared to flame so Tatay blow the candle for her.

Aug. 01, she had her birthday party, the motif was ni hao kai lan. Her Chinese friend gave her a Chinese dress. I ordered kai lan topper at eBay and our friend made the cake for her. She had 50+ guest including the kids. Her grandparents attended the party, they just came to attend all the way from Virginia.

I cooked pansit, humba and maja blanca. Ate Coy my new Filipina friend brought some sweet rice (biko), and lumpia. The party turns our great. Our church Pastor together with his family was present also, they are Filipino.

Today my little noiser turns 22 months old. This July she will turn 2 years old already. She grow very fast. She's 100% healthy and getting more taller everyday. She likes to dance and watch her favorite TV show little Einstein. She loves to count, sing the alphabet and sing the twinkle2x little star. She will eat by her self now. She says Thank you and please, we had a hard time teaching that words to her, she hates that two words. She's a daddy's girl. She likes to sleep in our bed and kick us the whole night. I am so proud of her specially when we go out, going to flea market, yard sales,malls and everywhere we go, we received lots of free toys and clothes for free, from people admire her, telling she's so cute, adorable,pretty and that makes my heart melt. One thing that never change yet is she is still boastful. Even on her stepbrother, she'll freeze every time she See's him. Well! he looks kinda scary to that is why Kiray is scared of him.

Sometimes my nephew and niece will let me watch them ride there bikes in the street in front our house. Then my little Kiray will follow them and wanted to ride in the bike. I told my hubby about it. He bought right away a bike for her. A pink Disney bike. The funny thing is my little Kiray cannot reach the pedal, we have to push her so the bike will move. Now she's getting darker, she's always in the road riding her bike and if not in the road, in our living room. I just cant believe how time pass by so quickly. She grow so fast that sometimes i told her to stop growing cos i want to enjoy my time with her being a little girl.

She is going to be 22 months this 28 and soon to be 2 years old. One day she will be driving her own car.!! OMG!! i guess i really have to concentrate on my driving..hehehe

Potty Train

My little Roberta doesn't like her diaper anymore. She keep taking it off. So last weekend we bought her a Potty train. When we get home from the store, my hubby assemble it and let her tried it. She sat on it, she likes it. We explained to her why she had that and how to use it. Last night, she take off her diaper again, so i told her to tell me if she will pee or poo, she was just busy playing and running around. Then i saw something at the back of her dress, some kind of a dirt, so i called her. Gosh!! when she run towards me I smell something different. She poo! I called my hubby and we panic..hahaha..I was thinking where did she poo, i hope it's solid..hehehe..I went to her room and I saw the poop in the floor. Luckily it was solid. We just laughed. My hubby brought her to the bathroom and let her sat on the potty, buy its too late, she's all done. Now were still working on her to tell us when she's ready to pee or poo.

Dr.'s Visit....21 months

Last Friday 4/24/09, Kiray had her Dr.'s appointment just for her regular check up. Everything turns out great. She is 90 % above average on her height for her age level. The Dr. told us she might be avery tall, 5'7 or 5'8 if she become an adult. We were so happy and proud of her. I'm glad she's not short like her Nanay. She also got two shots of vaccine. Our next appointment will be next year.

Kiray had her 1st Easter egg hunting last Sunday. Our first house for the egg hunting was Uncle Randy's backyard. She had a blast. When she saw the eggs on the ground she picked it up and put it in her pail, then roam around and looked for more eggs.

We gave her an Easter basket too with doll and candies on it. She likes the candy not the doll

In the afternoon we went to Aunt Victoria's house for another egg hunt. Kiray got 2 pail full of eggs..

My neice Madeline celebrated her lady bug 5th birthday party last April 04 and Roberta was one of her guest. My little noiser had a great time, playing with her cousins and meeting new friends. Last Saturday, Kiray had her 1st experienced of attending a children's birthday party. Her nephew was celebrating his 11th birthday. She was having fun, even though she was the smallest and the youngest of all the kids in the party. She receive a special treatment. My Sister in law let her joined the games. She had her first pinata. She also receive a special gooddies. She likes the bubbles too. She also found a new friend name Mary. She admired Kiray so much, she like Kiray's hair and her skin color. Everywhere we go she is always the darling of the crowd.

19 months old

My little noiser is now 19 months old and soon to be 20 months old. Time pass by so quickly. She is now a toddler and not so pain in the butt. She is learning to talk now, I am sure she will be very talkative like her Mom. She can understand well, she is now a big help for me. She will be the one who will throw her diaper in the garbage, turn the light on and off for me. Put her toys in the toy box after playing with it. She loves being in the outside. She sets in the booster set now and not in the high chair. She can eat by herself...but do a lot of mess..hehehe...

I already tried leaving her in my Sister in laws house for 1 night, I didn't slept good that night thinking of her. That was the 1st time she was out of my sight. I was so worried and i cried. She was doing good and behaving too but she didn't eat. When i picked her up, she was very light. Until now she is still very boastful. If people will look at her, she will hide.

She is still cute as ever. Still small because very picky when it comes to food. She gain weight a little but grow taller. She's admire by everybody. I am so happy and proud of my daughter .

Kiray turned 16 months old last november 28, she's pain in a butt now. She's more active, playing, running and digging all the things here in the house the whole day. She can can follow instructions now but she didn't say a word yet. Were been working on it but she didn't care to listen! If she want something she will keep on fussing till she can't get what she want..I am hoping she can talk soon!! can wait to hear her talk..I know she will be very talkative..

Despite of her being a pain in the butt, I love her to death.

Kiray turned 15 months old yesterday.Time passes by so quickly,now she is on her terrible toes stage,climbing on chairs,reaching things and she even climbed in our computer disk and type.She loves talking on the phone and even if it's not a phone she will use it as her phone.She is having a hard time in her teething but lucky she did not experience sickness,she just simply bite anything that on her hand.She doesn't like orajel as it taste so ewww!!! She likes to drink juice but she's picky when it comes to food.Sometimes i spank her and I felt guilty about it,it's just that she will not listen to me sometimes.Her Tatay spoiled her much.Every time we go out,we always receive compliments from the people,telling us how cute and adorable she is,some says she's a doll!and others gave us gifts,Were so proud to have Kiray in our life.She's truly a blessing.

Last Saturday was a busy day for us,we roam around the whole day.We went to the park to watched the celebration "the cooter festival".One of the highlights of the event is the carnaval.We let our little noiser experienced her first carousel and train ride.It turns out great! She loves it and having fun with it.The hard part is she doesn't want to get out of the carousel and the train..Lol!!!

I just finished cutting the hair of my little noiser,I decided to cut it by myself because I already tried bring her to the salon and she was just screaming,I still pay 11 bucks even if it was not finished.She still scream a while ago but I don't mind because she's here in the house,not like in the salon some of the customers who were there are looking on us,they wanted to complain but they can't because it's a baby who was making the noise.
